The semester plan
Get every unit started
- BPES: one theory unit per week in each paper; finish the notes in Learn the same week the teacher covers it.
- Start the practical record files now: one sport or asana page per day.
- BA: get the study material and textbooks (Sparkles, Alluring Aroma, An Inspector Calls, Karan Ghelo, Mahamanav Sardar); read the poems.
Internals and assignments
- BPES internal assessment (20 marks per paper): tests, attendance, practical files.
- BA distance assignments or internal work (check the Centre's schedule and portal).
- Write one long answer a day and upload it in Learn → Write & upload.
Revision rounds
- Round 1: all chapters, Key facts sheet, Daily 10 every day.
- Round 2: past papers (ask seniors and the department; Gujarat University papers are widely shared).
- Practicals: rehearse skills, measurements and viva answers with a friend.
Sharpen
- Only revision, no new topics. Sleep 8 hours. Reduce training volume, keep it light.
- Carry hall ticket and ID; reach early.

Making two degrees work
- BPES is daily and practical: keep pace with classes so you never fall behind.
- B.A. is self-study: one hour every evening beats a weekend marathon.
- Many BPES skills help B.A. writing, and B.A. English helps BPES answers: clear English gets marks in both.
- Before competitions, tell your teachers early and collect notes; use travel time for Daily 10.
Key facts sheet
Anatomy numbers
Yoga & naturopathy
Field & court measurements
English literature
Revise this sheet for 10 minutes before bed during exam weeks.
Daily 10
Ten questions from both degrees, with explanations. A new mix every time (288 questions in the bank).
Sessions today: 0
How to use it
- Pick one task: "Anatomy: nephron diagram" or "Gray's Elegy summary".
- Phone in another room. Start the timer.
- Work until it rings, then take the break.
- After 4 sessions, take a 20-minute break.
A chime plays when each session ends. The count is saved on this device.
University theory papers
- Read the whole paper first; start with the question you know best.
- Long answers: heading, introduction, points with sub-headings, diagram or table, conclusion.
- Anatomy: draw neat labelled diagrams (heart, lungs, nephron, digestive system).
- Yoga: write Sanskrit terms correctly with meanings.
- English: quote a line or two from the poem; mention author and period.
- Write to the marks: an 8–10-mark answer needs about 1.5–2 pages.
Practicals and viva
- Know the measurements and rules of every sport you chose.
- Demonstrate skills slowly and correctly; explain the teaching points.
- Record file: neat, complete, signed before the exam.
- Answer viva questions in full sentences, confidently.
Distance learning (B.A.)
- Check the Gujarat University website and your Centre's notices every week.
- Submit assignments and internal work on time: they are part of your marks.
- Attend contact sessions when possible.
- Keep your enrolment number, ABC ID and fee receipts safe.
